Mark P. Hershman, PE
A graduate from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Mechanical Engineering in 1970, Mr. Hershman has twenty-three years experience
as a design and construct mechanical contractor and ten years as principal of
M. P. Hershman, PE, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers. He is registered in
seven states as a professional engineer and has served in numerous ASHRAE positions,
including Past President of the Philadelphia Chapter.
Analysis and troubleshooting are strengths derived from a strong testing and
balancing background having served as President of the Pennsylvania Environmental
Balancing Association (local NEBB chapter) for eight years. Mr. Hershman also
was an instructor of the Local 19 Sheet Metal Workers Union Testing and Balancing
Training Program.
Grazyna S. Plichta, PE
A graduate from Silesian Technical University in Gilwice, Poland with a Master of Science
degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987, Ms. Plichta has sixteen years of experience in
electrical design and studies, and has worked on commercial, institutional and industrial
projects. Ms. Plichta is registered in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as a Professional Engineer.
She is a member of the National Fire Protection Association and National Society of
Professional Engineers.
Jamie F. Boles
A graduate from Temple University with a Mechanical Engineering Technology degree
in 2000, Mr. Boles joined our firm in 1999. He has strong AutoCAD skills and four
years of experience in designing and preparing mechanical, electrical, plumbing
and fire protection systems. Mr. Boles was on the Dean's List at Temple
University and is a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of ASHRAE. He has
completed the ASHRAE Basic HVAC Design course.
Darius Plichta
A graduate from Silesian Technical University in Gilwice, Poland with Bachelor
of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering in 1985,
Mr. Plichta has fifteen years of experience in electrical design and studies,
and has worked on industrial, institutional and commercial power and control
systems. Mr. Plichta has been registered in Poland as a Professional Engineer
since 1988. He received a Certificate - Engineer-In-Training in Pennsylvania
in 1993. Also, he received a Certificate - Design and Inspection of Explosion-Proof
Systems from the Ministerium of Power and Mining Engineers Improvement Center in
Zabrze, Poland. Mr. Plichta is a member of IEEE, Polish Electrical Engineers
Association, and Polish Mining Engineers Association. He also received an award
and honor nomination, "Engineer Third Degree", by the Minister of Power and Mining
Industry in Warsaw, Poland in 1987.
Bret R. Arehart
A graduate from Temple University with a Mechanical Engineering Technology degree
in 2001, Mr. Arehart joined our firm in 2002. His strong AutoCAD skills and engineering
background have given him the ability to design and prepare mechanical, electrical,
plumbing and fire protection drawings. Mr. Arehart has prior experience as an
Engineer/Drafter at E. B. O'Reilly & Associates, Inc. and as an electrical
contractor at G. L. Higgins Electrical Contracting.
